On February 2, 2026, the family of Zoé Trépanier launched a fundraising initiative at École secondaire catholique l’Horizon in honour of Zoé, who passed away from rhabdomyosarcoma on June 24, 2025, at the age of 15.
Sweatshirt sales and a porketta bingo organized by the Valley East Lions Club helped the initiative raise $11,232.83 for NOFCC. The porketta bingo contributed $2,927 toward that total.
Zoé’s family joined students and staff for a cheque presentation in the school gymnasium. NOFCC extends heartfelt thanks to the Trépanier family, every student and teacher who participated, the Valley East Lions Club, and the Greater Sudbury community for this remarkable expression of love and remembrance.
