HOST A FUNDRAISER
Bring people together in support of NOFCC families.
Community fundraisers are organized by individuals, businesses, schools, workplaces, clubs, teams, or local groups who want to support families facing childhood cancer.
Your fundraiser could be simple or large, formal or informal. What matters most is that it helps raise awareness and support for NOFCC families across Northern Ontario.
FUNDRAISING IDEAS
Small events and big ideas can both make a difference.
There are many ways to bring people together in support of NOFCC families. Here are a few examples of community-led fundraisers.
Community events
Car washes, dinners, concerts, dances, vendor markets, tournaments, and local gatherings.
School and workplace campaigns
Dress-down days, donation drives, challenges, classroom activities, or staff-led campaigns.
Memorial or tribute fundraisers
Meaningful events or campaigns held in honour or memory of someone special.
Creative local ideas
If your idea brings people together and supports NOFCC families, the team would be glad to hear from you.

Please contact NOFCC before promoting your fundraiser.
Third-party fundraising events must be approved by NOFCC in advance. These events are planned and managed by the organizer, with little or no financial responsibility or staff involvement from NOFCC.
Contacting NOFCC first helps ensure your event is a good fit, confirms how NOFCC’s name may be used, and gives the team an opportunity to answer questions before you begin.
A third-party fundraiser is independently organized.
NOFCC may be able to provide guidance, answer questions, and help confirm next steps, but the organizer is responsible for planning, promotion, costs, volunteers, and event logistics.
