Going Gold for Northern Ontario’s Families of Children with Cancer
On Saturday, September 26, 2026, Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer (NOFCC) will host our 7th Annual Gold Soirée at the United Steelworkers Hall and Conference Centre in Greater Sudbury — and we invite you to be part of an unforgettable evening that changes lives across Northern Ontario.
In honour of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we will transform the venue into a lavish gold-inspired celebration filled with elegance, energy, and purpose. With only 300 tickets available, this exclusive event consistently sells out and brings together community leaders, businesses, and compassionate supporters united behind one powerful cause: ensuring no Northern Ontario family faces childhood cancer alone.
NOFCC proudly serves families across Ontario’s vast “P” postal code region. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, families often travel hundreds of kilometers for treatment, placing immense emotional and financial strain on already difficult circumstances. NOFCC provides vital financial assistance and emotional support, helping families cover travel, accommodations, groceries, and essential household expenses — easing burdens so they can focus on their child’s care.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and supporters, last year’s Gold Soirée raised just over $88,000. This year, with your partnership, we are determined to raise the roof once more and make an even greater impact for our NOFCC superheroes.
Guests will experience a luxurious cocktail-style evening featuring:
• Joe Bowen, the legendary voice of the Toronto Maple Leafs, as emcee
• Live entertainment from Saving Grace: Celebrating Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
• Harp guitarist Jamie Dupuis
• DJ Jackie (Bassline Jack)
• More exciting performances to be announced
• Silent and live auctions and raffles
NOFCC’s Gold Soirée is more than an event — it is a soirée of strength, resilience, and community. As a sponsor, your organization will receive meaningful visibility and recognition while demonstrating a deep commitment to families throughout Northern Ontario.
We offer a range of sponsorship opportunities with prominent brand exposure before, during, and after the event. Most importantly, your investment directly supports children and families navigating one of life’s most challenging journeys. We would be honoured to discuss how your organization can join us in making the 2026 Gold Soirée our most impactful yet.
Together, we can turn gold into hope.
