Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer Extends Deepest Gratitude to Donors and Partners
Sudbury, ON — Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer (NOFCC) proudly extends its heartfelt gratitude to the generous donors, sponsors, and community partners whose unwavering support continues to sustain its mission and strengthen families across Northern Ontario.
As an organization that receives no government funding, NOFCC relies entirely on the compassion and commitment of supporters and fundraisers to deliver 27 vital programs. These programs provide essential financial relief and emotional support to families living within Ontario’s vast “P” postal code region who are navigating the profound challenges of childhood cancer. For families already burdened by travel, treatment, and uncertainty, this support is not simply helpful—it is essential.
NOFCC is extremely proud to announce an extraordinary a three-year $150,000 partnership with the Masonic Foundation of Ontario. This transformative investment provides critical stability and ensures continuity of care for families who depend on NOFCC’s services.
One of NOFCC’s first initiatives, made possible with this partnership, is the creation of the Welcome Home Package. This program will give each family $1000 at the end of treatment or relapse treatment; this is meant to help their transition from hospital to home after many months away.
It is thanks to organizations such as the Masonic Foundation of Ontario, Regional Canada Pageant, Miners for Cancer, A-5 District Lion’s Club, John Carl MacIsaac Foundation, PEO, Sudbury Charities Foundation, Desjardins, Ontario Power Generation, UCDA, and many more who have given time and resources to ensure our success over these last 28 years.
Astounding contributions and displays of humanity such as these play a vital role in helping NOFCC meet the growing needs of families across the region and gives the families more opportunities to thrive.
To all who have contributed—whether through financial support, event participation, or advocacy—please accept our deepest thanks. Your humbling generosity ensures that no Northern Ontario family faces childhood cancer alone.
Together, we are making a difference, for the cause of good.
